Jewelera Export

Our place, Jewelera Export, is over in MIDC Andheri East at D-12, Blue Steel House on Street No. 21. Being in an industrial area means things are always moving around us. We handle the export side of things, which means a lot of checking orders and making sure everything is packed securely for long trips. It’s not a retail shop where you can just walk in and browse. It’s more of a hub of activity. We have tables set up for sorting and packing, and there’s usually a lot of tape and cardboard around. We deal with various jewelry items that are headed overseas. The office part of the building is where we keep the records and talk to our contacts. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the schedule. We’ve got a small group of people working here who have been with us for years. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just try to make sure nothing gets lost or broken on its way out. The Blue Steel House is a well-known building in this part of MIDC, so deliveries find us easily. We don't have much of a lobby or anything like that. People come here to work and get things moved. It’s a basic, functional space that serves its purpose for our business.
