Jethro Institute Of Distance Education

Our office is in Goregaon West, specifically at 86/87. It is a busy part of Mumbai, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. Jethro Institute handles distance education, which means we spend a lot of time with folders and registration papers. It is not a traditional school with classrooms and bells. Instead, it is a place where people come to figure out how they can study while keeping their jobs. The space is filled with desks, computers, and stacks of university brochures. We have a few chairs for visitors to sit while we explain the different courses available. The lighting is a bit dim in the back but bright near the entrance. We have been here for a while and have seen many people come through these doors looking to finish their degrees. It is a small operation, really. Most of our day is spent answering emails or talking to students on the phone. The walls have some charts and schedules pinned up. It is a bit cluttered with all the files, but we know where everything is. People usually find us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. We are right there in the middle of the Goregaon bustle. It is a simple, working office where the focus is just on getting the paperwork done for the students. We do not have any fancy lobby or reception area, just the desks where the work happens.
