R G Tutorials is way up on the 16th floor of Alis Tower. We are at 208 Maulana Shaukat Ali Road, right at the Arab Gali Corner in Grant Road. In a city like Mumbai, space is always tight, but we make it work with what we have. Slow elevators are a common thing in this building, so students are always told to come a few minutes early so they don't miss the start. Taking a short break between batches allows us to see the city rooftops from the 16th floor. This place has been our home for a long time. Benches and boards for teaching fill the rooms. When the classes are full, it gets loud, but that’s expected in a place like Grant Road. Getting through the books and focusing on the subjects is what we do. Decor isn't fancy here, just posters of diagrams and maybe some old schedules taped to the walls. Many students come from all over Mumbai because the station isn't too far away. It’s a busy life for the whole team. Until late at night, my staff and I are usually here. Sometimes the tea man from downstairs brings up a tray when we have a long stretch of batches to get through. Being anything other than what we are isn't the goal. We are just a tutorial center in a tall building. People find us because they heard we've been at Arab Gali Corner forever. It’s a regular part of our daily lives now.
