Jealom

Our little shop is number five inside the Sai Vaibhav Building over in Ghatkopar East. It is a typical Mumbai spot, a bit cramped but we make it work. The building is easy to find if you are walking around the neighborhood. We have been here at Jealom for a while now, just doing our thing day in and day out. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the traffic and people going to the station, but inside we just focus on what needs to be finished. The walls are a bit plain and we have stuff piled up on the shelves, but it’s organized in a way that makes sense to us. Most of the people who come in are locals from the nearby blocks. We know most of them by name now. It’s not a large place by any means. You have to step over a few things sometimes to get to the back. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re too busy working on orders. Ghatkopar is a fast place, but we try to keep our pace steady. Sometimes the electricity flickers when it rains heavy, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the work is done. It is just a regular local business trying to keep things moving along for everyone who relies on us. There is always someone here if you need to talk.
