Jbcn International School

This school is located inside Citi Tower on Dr S S Rao Road in Parel. Being in the middle of Mumbai 400012 means we are surrounded by tall buildings and lots of traffic. Since we are in a tower, the setup is a bit different from a traditional school with a big open field. We use the floors we have for different grades and activities. The elevators are always busy in the morning with staff and students trying to get to their floors on time. Dr S S Rao Road is a very active part of Parel, so there is always noise from the street outside, but once you are inside the rooms, it gets a bit quieter. We have a lot of glass windows that look out over the city. The classrooms have the usual desks and chairs, and we try to keep things organized despite the limited space typical of this part of town. Lunchtime happens in designated areas because we don't have a big canteen like some other places might. It's a very urban kind of school life. Most people come here by train or bus since the station isn't too far away. We spend our days going from one floor to another for different subjects. It’s a functional place that works well for the families living and working in the Parel area. There is always a security guard at the lift entrance to help out.
