Jayesh Machinery Works

Working out of Kandivali East is a bit of a commute for me, but I have gotten used to it. The shop is in Antop Hill, specifically Plot D 129 in the Bonanza Industrial area. It is a busy place full of other workshops and small factories. You can always hear the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of engines nearby. It is not a clean place, but it is a productive one. I spend most of my time covered in a bit of grease or dust. Jayesh Machinery Works is not a big corporation; it is just a place where things get made and fixed. I started here a few years back and I have slowly collected all the tools I need. The layout of the shop is a bit cramped because we have so much equipment packed into the space. I usually have tea with the guys from the next unit over during the mid-morning break. We talk about the machines and how hard it is to get parts sometimes. The lights in here are a bit dim, but I know where everything is by touch. The floor is concrete and has seen better days. When the rain comes down on the corrugated roof, it makes a huge noise. It is a loud, busy life, but it keeps me occupied. I do not have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner. That is where I do the paperwork.
