Jaydev Amersey

We are tucked away on Bible Church Road, right in Vijaya Bank Colony 15. It’s a nice enough area, mostly quiet compared to the main roads. Jaydev Amersey has been operating out of this space for a good bit of time now. The building is older, but it holds up. We don't spend much time worrying about how the walls look or if the furniture matches. It’s more about the actual work we do every day. Sometimes it feels like the days just blend together, but we like the routine of it. Most of us have been here long enough that we could find our way around in the dark. We see a lot of the same faces passing by the window. Living and working in Gamdevi has its own rhythm. You get used to the sounds of the neighborhood and the way the light hits the street in the afternoon. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest place around. We just want to do right by the people who come in. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a counter and some chairs. If the phone rings, we answer it. If someone walks in, we help them out. It’s straightforward. We keep our files organized, mostly, and we try to stay on top of things. It’s just a regular place with regular people doing their jobs. Nothing more to it than that, really. We just keep at it and hope for the best tomorrow.
