Jay Ambe Computers

We are located at Shop No 81 in the Free Press Journal building right in the middle of Nariman Point. Jay Ambe Computers has been sitting here for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot across from Raheja Centre and there is always something going on outside the door. We spend most of our time fixing things or helping people with whatever computer trouble they brought in that morning. It’s not a large shop but we make it work with the space we have. Nariman Point is a fast place so we try to keep up as much as we can. Some days are slower than others but usually it is just one thing after another. We have seen a lot of businesses come and go in this part of Mumbai but we are still here at Shop 81. It is mostly just a few of us working together every day. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. It’s just about computers and being here when the doors open. If you are walking past the Free Press Journal building you will probably see us. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the parts and boxes but that’s just how a repair shop looks. We don't really bother with making it look like a showroom. It’s a practical place for practical work and we like it that way. No fancy lights or anything like that here.
