Janta Welding

We are located at Guru Nanak Nagar, right on L B S Marg in Ghatkopar West. Our shop is near Mahindra Park, which is a place most locals know well. It’s a welding shop, so it’s not exactly a quiet or clean environment. There is always the sound of metal being cut or the bright light from the welding torch. We’ve been here for years, and the floor is covered in iron filings and scraps of steel. We do all sorts of repair work and fabrication for anyone who walks in. If something metal is broken, people usually bring it to us to see if it can be joined back together. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just the workshop where we work with our hands all day. Our clothes are usually dusty, and there is always a lot of heat from the machines we use. We take on small jobs for people in the neighborhood and sometimes bigger ones if they come our way. We don't have a website or do any fancy advertising. People just see the sparks flying from the street and know we are open for business. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when the weather is hot, but we just get on with it. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just take two pieces of metal and make them one. That’s the whole business here.
