Janhavi Computers

Janhavi Computers is set up at number 11, Virendra-Villa, which is part of the NELCO Housing Society near Subhash Nagar. Since we're in a residential area, it’s much quieter than the main markets. We started this business because we saw that people in the neighborhood needed someone nearby to help with their computer problems. Our office is basically a converted room, but it’s got everything we need to do our jobs. We handle everything from basic maintenance to more complex network setups for local offices. Most of our customers are our neighbors or people who live a few streets away. We don't do a lot of advertising because word of mouth has always been enough for us. It’s nice being able to walk to work and know everyone in the area. We aren't trying to expand into a big franchise; we like the way things are right now. Sometimes we spend more time chatting with customers about their families than we do actually fixing their machines, but that's just how it goes in a community like this. We're honest about what things cost and how long a repair will take. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to be helpful and keep the computers in Subhash Nagar running well. It is a simple life and we enjoy the work we do for the people around here. There is something nice about being the local experts for our friends and helping them with technology.
