Jai Maruti Industries

We have been running Jai Maruti Industries from this spot in Masjid Bunder for quite some time now. If you have ever been to Bhat Bazar, you know how crowded Narshi Nattha Street gets during the day. Our office is up in 201/1 of Anantdeep Chamber, and honestly, the stairs are a bit much if the lift isn't behaving itself that morning. It’s an old building, but it has character. Most days here start with the sound of handcarts and trucks moving goods through the narrow lanes outside. We mostly deal with industrial supplies, and there is always a stack of paperwork on the desk that never seems to get shorter. The tea stall right outside the main gate makes the best ginger tea, which helps us get through the afternoon slump. It’s not a fancy glass office like you see in the new parts of the city, but it works for us. We know our neighbors, and they know us. Sometimes the power flickers when it rains hard, but we just keep going. People often get lost finding 273/77 because the numbering around here is a little confusing if you aren’t local. We just tell them to look for the big blue sign. It’s a busy life here in the heart of Mumbai’s trading hub, and there is never a quiet moment. We’ve seen the market change over the years, yet this corner stays pretty much the same.
