Jagdish Panchal

My name is Jagdish Panchal and I’ve been working out of this spot in Lower Parel for a long while now. It’s located in Jodia Mansion, specifically Room 226/10 in Bangur Nagar. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded with all the buildings packed together. The room isn't very large, but it's enough for what I do. I keep my tools and paperwork organized as best as I can, though sometimes things get a bit messy when a big project is going on. I grew up around here and stayed because I like the atmosphere of the local community. People stop by to chat or ask for advice on small things throughout the day. I don’t use any fancy systems or have a secretary answering the phone. It’s just me. I handle everything myself from start to finish. Some mornings I start early before the sun is fully up just to get a head start on the quiet hours. The building itself is old and has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to them. I don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Most of the people who come to see me heard about me from a neighbor or a friend. It’s a straightforward way to live and work in this part of town.
