At J R Promotors, we spend most of our time in Andheri West. Our main base is in Building No 9, specifically the A Wing of Aashirwad. If you know Andheri, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. We are right in the middle of all that. As promoters, we are always looking at plans or talking to people about construction and sites. Our office is usually full of blueprints and rolls of paper that never seem to stay rolled up. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest. There is always someone coming in with a question or a document that needs a signature. We do not have a lot of time for fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over a cup of tea in the office or right out on the site. The building we are in is a regular Andheri building, nothing too special, but it’s home for our business. We have got a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep the air moving. Dealing with property and promotion in this city is a challenge, but we have been doing it for long enough that we are used to the headaches. We do not use big words or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We just work on the projects we have in front of us. Most days start early and end quite late.
