J P Morgan

J P Morgan is operating out of the Rock Avenue Building over in Kandivali West. We are in Flat 307 A. It’s a standard apartment building, so it doesn't look like your typical bank office from the outside. That’s just how we like it, honestly. It’s a bit more relaxed than being in a huge glass skyscraper. We spend most of our time dealing with spreadsheets and phone calls. The building has a decent amount of activity, with families living in the other flats, so there’s always a bit of life around. Sometimes you hear kids playing in the hallway or the sound of someone cooking nearby. It makes the workday feel a bit more grounded. We have our computers set up in the main room and some storage in the back. Kandivali is a busy suburb, and getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle if you're coming from far away. Most of us have our own little rhythm for getting things done. We don't have big meetings with fancy presentations. We just talk across the room if something needs to be sorted out. It’s a very practical way to work. We’ve been in this building for a while now and it suits our needs just fine. It's just a regular group of people doing their jobs in a regular Mumbai building, trying to get things finished.
