Our spot for J P Morgan is tucked away in Pali Hill, which is one of those parts of Bandra West that everyone knows. We are in 5B Prashant Apartments. It is actually right opposite where Dilip Kumar’s bungalow is, so that is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. The area is quite green for Mumbai, which makes the walk into work a bit nicer. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We don’t have any big signs outside or anything. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and a lot of cables. It feels more like a home that turned into an office over time. We get the sea breeze sometimes if the windows are open, though usually, we keep them shut because of the dust. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here. It is not the kind of place where you see people in suits all day. We dress pretty casual and just focus on the computer screens. Bandra can be a bit chaotic with the traffic on the main roads, but up here on the hill, it stays relatively calm. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Most of us live nearby or take the train into Bandra station and then a rickshaw up. It’s a steady routine. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's work, trying to stay organized.
