J P Morgan Chase

J P Morgan Chase is over at 203 Guru Kripa Niwas in the Punjabi Colony area of GTB Nagar. This is a very lively part of Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside our windows. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We are on the second floor. It’s a small office where we handle a lot of the day-to-day operations. It definitely doesn't feel like a corporate headquarters. It feels like a local workspace where people actually know each other's names. We have a lot of files and books around, and the desks are usually covered in notes. We don't really have a cleaning crew that comes in every hour, so it looks like a place where people actually work. The noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes, especially during festivals, but we are used to it by now. Most of us take the local train to get here and then walk from the station. It is a simple commute for the most part. We don't have any high-tech security gates or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and you’re at our door. We do our work, chat a bit during tea breaks, and try to keep things organized. It is just a practical, no-nonsense office in a busy neighborhood where we just get our jobs done.
