J K Data Services is located over in the New Mhb Colony Transit Camp in Kandivali East, specifically at 74-741. It’s a busy area and the buildings are packed pretty close together. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside. We have a few computers set up on long tables and plenty of cables running along the floor. It stays quite cool inside because we keep the blinds closed against the afternoon sun. Being in a transit camp means there’s always something going on outside, kids playing or people moving stuff around. We spend most of the day looking at screens and typing away. The chairs are mismatched because we just picked them up as we needed more. We keep a big water jar in the corner for everyone. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but we’ve learned to focus anyway. It’s not the kind of place with a big sign or bright lights. Most of our neighbors are doing similar kinds of small-scale work. We’ve been at this spot for a few years now. The bathroom down the hall is shared with the other units, which isn’t ideal but it works. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small electric kettle for making instant stuff. It’s a simple setup for a simple day’s work. We just show up and get through the tasks we have for the day.
