You can find J G Chauhan right in the middle of the chaos at Masjid Bunder West, at number 34. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the markets and people moving goods around. Our office is right there in the thick of it. We deal with a lot of local trade and supply stuff that keeps us on our feet. It’s a noisy, fast-paced environment, but we’ve grown to like it. Most of our day is spent coordinating with vendors or checking on stock that’s coming in or going out. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find expensive furniture or quiet hallways. Instead, it’s mostly boxes, ledgers, and the phone ringing all the time. We have to be quick because things move fast in Masjid Bunder. Sometimes we make mistakes in the hurry, but we always fix them and keep going. We don’t have a massive staff, so we all know each other’s business and help out where it’s needed. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. But there’s a sense of satisfaction in being part of such a vibrant trading hub. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the faces on the street. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily grind, making sure the orders are processed and the bills are paid.
