Our workspace is up on the second floor, Room Number 215, right in the middle of Mumbai. It’s a busy part of the city, and you can always hear the horns and the general hum of the streets from our windows. The building itself has seen better days, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so we usually just take the lift if it is working right. We deal with IT solutions, which basically means we are surrounded by hardware, spare parts, and plenty of monitors. It’s a functional place without any unnecessary decorations or flashy signs on the walls. Most of our day is spent troubleshooting things or talking to people about their computer issues. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a few snacks for when things get busy. Since we are in the 400072 zip code area, we are pretty central to a lot of things, which helps when we have to head out. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall because none of us really has the time for a long break. The air conditioning works well enough, which is a relief during the humid Mumbai summers. It is just a simple office where we put in the hours and try to keep everything running smoothly for everyone who calls us. We don't worry about being fancy; we just focus on the computers.
