Israr Shaikh

You can find me over at the Mohatta Market, right where Mori Road and SS Road meet. It’s a crowded spot, and there is always a lot of shouting and noise from the street vendors and the traffic. I’ve been working out of this market for quite some time now. My day usually starts early, getting the shop ready and seeing who walks through the door. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and you see the same faces every day. I don't have a big staff or a fancy website. It is mostly just me handling the customers and making sure the orders are right. The market is old, and the buildings have a lot of character, even if they aren't the most modern. Dealing with people is the main thing I do. Sometimes they know exactly what they want, and other times we have to talk through a few options before they decide. It can be tiring being on your feet all day, but that is how it goes in this line of work. I try to keep everything organized, though it can get cluttered when a lot of stock comes in at once. There's no secret to how I run things; I just show up and do the work that needs to be done. It's a small business, but it keeps me busy from morning until evening every day.
