Located in Alva House at Marol Naka, our place is right in the heart of Andheri East. It’s a busy spot where the traffic from the metro and the buses is always loud. Ishtaa Gold Jewellery is where we spend our days, surrounded by things that shine. It’s not a massive showroom with dozens of guards, but more of a professional office where we handle the business side of things. You can see the Marol Naka station from the main road near us. The office itself is quite practical. We have heavy safes and desks where we look at different designs and handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when shipments arrive or when we have to meet with suppliers. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and the security guys at the gate know us well. It’s a workplace where we pay a lot of attention to the small details because when you work with gold, you can't really afford to be messy. We drink a lot of coffee here to stay sharp, especially during the long afternoons when the Mumbai humidity is at its worst. People come up to the Marol Naka area for all sorts of work, and we are just one part of that busy ecosystem. The carpets are a bit worn from people walking in and out, but the atmosphere is always focused. It’s a steady, reliable place for us to be.
