We are over in Navi Mumbai at B 202 Shiv Darshan Co Op Housing Society. This is in Sector 8 of Airoli. It's a residential area mostly, so it stays fairly quiet compared to the main city. Being in a housing society means we know our neighbors well and it feels more like a community than a cold office building. Most of our work involves the local area and the industrial bits around Navi Mumbai. The staff here at Ion Exchange India Ltd usually gets in early to beat the commute. We deal with a lot of paperwork and planning for the water projects we look after. The office space is comfortable enough, nothing too flashy. There's a lot of focus on just getting the daily tasks finished. We spend time on the phone or looking at site plans. Sometimes the weather in Airoli gets really humid, but we’ve got fans and AC to keep us going. It’s a practical setup. We've been operating out of this Shiv Darshan building for some time now. You can see the regular rhythm of the neighborhood from our windows. We don't really use big slogans or anything like that. It’s just us working on the engineering side of things. If you are looking for Sector 8, we are easy to find. It’s a straightforward operation here. We have a few old chairs and a big table where we drink tea and talk about the day's schedule.
