Iol Broadband Ltd is based at 72 118 Bdd Chawl in Worli, Mumbai. If you've ever been to the BDD Chawls, you know exactly what the atmosphere is like. It’s very historic and extremely busy. Our office is a small space within one of these iconic buildings. It’s definitely not like those shiny towers you see in the rest of Worli or Lower Parel. We are right in the thick of it. The rooms are compact, and we have wires and equipment tucked into every available corner. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that do their best. Working here means being part of the local life. You hear everything happening in the hallways and outside on the street. We handle broadband stuff, so there’s always something to fix or a connection to check. Our team is small, and we spend a lot of time running around the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have to store new routers or cables. The stairs are steep and old, but they’ve held up for a long time. It’s a practical, no-nonsense place to work. We don't have fancy meeting rooms or a lounge. We just have our desks, our tools, and the goal of finishing the day’s tasks. It’s a real Mumbai experience working out of a chawl like this, and we wouldn't have it any other way right now.
