We’ve been running Intsys Technologies for a while now out of our office at 3/25, Gurubaksha Punjabi Chawl. It’s right there in Javahar Nagar on Saibaba Road, which most people around Khar in Mumbai know pretty well. It’s a busy spot but we like it here because everything is close by. We handle a lot of tech stuff for different people and businesses. It isn't always quiet in this part of town, especially with the traffic on Saibaba Road, but the office inside is where we get the work done. People sometimes have trouble finding the exact chawl number at first, but once you’ve been here, it’s easy enough to remember. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we sit with our computers and figure things out. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates like it does anywhere in Mumbai, but we manage. Most of the staff comes from nearby areas, so we have a good group of regulars. We spend our days answering emails, fixing things that broke, and trying to keep everything moving forward for the folks who use our services. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this neighborhood over the years. If you’re walking through Javahar Nagar, you might see us coming and going. We’ve stayed in this spot because it works for us and the rent makes sense.
