Intercontinental The Grand

You can find us at 201 Shetal Dhara in Nerul Sector 44A. This is in the Navi Mumbai area of Maharashtra. Intercontinental The Grand is basically a group of us working out of this space. The building is a typical Mumbai apartment block with some commercial units on the lower floors. It is quite close to the railway station so the sound of trains is something we hear all day long. The office itself is a bit cramped with folders and some old furniture we have had for years. We handle guest inquiries and some of the administrative side of things for the property. Outside the windows you can see other residential buildings and the palm trees that grow around the complex. The weather is usually humid so we keep the fans going at full speed. People walk by on the sidewalk going to the local shops or the park nearby. It is a decent neighborhood and things are mostly calm here. We do not have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually someone just looks up from their desk when a visitor comes to the door. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists on the screen. It is a practical set up that serves its purpose for the daily grind. Everyone knows their job and we just get through the pile of paperwork before heading home in the evening.
