Intercode Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is located at number 110 in the Ravi Industrial Estate. To get here, you have to head off Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. Anyone who knows Mumbai knows that Andheri is a busy, crowded place. The industrial estate itself is full of activity from early morning until late at night. There are always trucks moving in and out, and the sound of machinery is never too far away. Our unit is just one of many in the complex. It is a practical space designed for work, not for showing off. We have got rows of equipment and desks crammed in. The walls are a bit dusty from the surrounding construction, but that is just how it is in an industrial area. Getting here can be a struggle because of the traffic on Mahakali Caves Road, especially when it rains and the roads get messy. We usually spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff that comes up. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a long time and people know we do what we say we will. It is a tough, busy environment, but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we grab lunch from the small canteen inside the estate. It is basic, honest work in a very busy part of the city.
