Our place is over in Malad West, inside Shakthi Arcade. It’s on the 21st Main, and if you know this area, you know how the traffic gets during the evening rush. We are in room 104. The arcade itself is one of those buildings where you can find all sorts of businesses tucked away. Our office isn’t huge, but there’s enough room for a few desks and the equipment we need to get through the day. The carpet has a few stains near the water cooler and the windows could probably use a good wash, but it’s home for us for eight hours a day. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking over the hum of the air conditioner. It’s not the newest building in Malad, but it’s solid. There’s a guy who sells snacks downstairs near the entrance, and that’s usually where we end up when we need a break. Most of the people working here have been around for a while, so we don't really have to explain much to each other. We just show up, do the work, and deal with whatever issues pop up with the files or the clients. It’s practical. No one is wearing suits unless there’s a specific reason for it. It’s just a group of people in an office trying to keep everything organized and making sure the lights stay on for another month.
