Interaction Design

If you look across from the Bageecha Hotel in Pathare Wadi, you will see where we work. Interaction Design is not a big corporate office with glass walls. We are in an older building that has a bit of character to it. Inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of sketches pinned to the walls. We spend our days thinking about how things should work and look. It sounds simple, but it can get pretty complicated when you are staring at a screen for eight hours. We like being in Pathare Wadi because it feels like a real neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of the street and people going about their day. Sometimes we go over to the hotel for a quick bite when we are stuck on a project. We are not the type of people who wear suits to work. We are more comfortable in jeans and t-shirts. A lot of our time is spent just talking through ideas or trying to fix something that is not working right on a website. It is a quiet kind of work, but it keeps us busy. People usually find us by word of mouth. We do not have a big sign outside or anything. We have a small coffee machine that makes a lot of noise, and a couch that is a bit lumpy where we sit to talk. The view out the window is just the street.
