Our office is located at Plot 34 in the SEEPZ area of Andheri East. It’s one of those big industrial complexes where you have to show your ID every time you enter the gate. Inside, it’s like its own little world. We’ve been operating out of this specific plot for quite a bit. The building is functional, designed more for work than for looking good. We spend our time dealing with gold and making sure the production lines are moving along like they should. It’s a lot of manual labor and staring at small details. The commute to Andheri is always a bit of a struggle, but once you’re inside the gates, things settle down. We have a mix of people here, from the youngsters starting out to the older folks who have been around since the early days. It’s not a corporate environment with suits and ties; it’s more about aprons and tools. We have our lunch breaks together, usually talking about the cricket score or what’s happening in the city. The space is filled with the sound of machinery and the clinking of metal. It’s a practical environment. We don’t bother with much decoration. The focus is on the work on the table. It’s a solid place to spend your day, and we try to get things right without making a big fuss about it.
