Insignia Creations

Insignia Creations is located in Sonal Apartment, right in Anand Nagar, Dahisar East. It's typical Mumbai—a bit cramped but we make every inch of the space work for us. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s not as loud as the main parts of the city. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors are all used to us by now. Inside, it’s full of samples and bits of material we use for our creations. We don't have a big storefront or a fancy lobby. You just walk up the stairs and you’re in the middle of our workspace. We started small, just a couple of us with an idea, and we’ve stayed that way mostly because we like the control it gives us. Every day is a bit different. One day we’re sketching out designs, and the next we’re trying to source the right materials from across the city. Mumbai traffic is always a challenge, so we spend a lot of time planning our routes. We don’t go for the corporate look; you’ll usually find us in jeans and t-shirts. It’s about the output, not the outfit. We make mistakes sometimes, like anyone else, but we always try to fix them before things leave our door. It’s a small operation, but it’s ours, and we take pride in just getting things finished without a lot of fuss. It's been our home for years and we plan to stay right here in Dahisar.
