Inowait

We’re located up in E-1103 at Dheeraj Jamuna, right on Chincholi Bunder Road in Malad West. Being up on a higher floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we’re just looking at our computer screens all day. Inowait is a small team of us working on various digital projects. It’s more of a home-office vibe than a corporate one. We have desks pushed against the walls and wires running across the floor. Chincholi Bunder Road can get really loud with traffic, but it’s quieter once you get up to the eleventh floor. We’ve been here for a while now, just quietly doing our thing. We don’t have any big signs or a reception desk. People who know us just come up or we meet them somewhere else. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and trying to figure out technical problems. It’s not always organized, and sometimes the place is a bit of a mess with old hard drives and half-empty coffee mugs. We like it this way though, it feels real. Malad is a busy part of the city, and we’re just one small part of it. We don’t go in for big titles or formal meetings. Usually, we just talk through what needs to be done and then we do it. It’s a simple way to work without the extra fuss. We’ve been friends as much as coworkers for a long time. It’s just how we run things. Most days we're here until the sun goes down.
