We are located in Unit 2 of the CPC Godown. If you know the Rabale Height building, we’re right across from that. It’s basically a big warehouse space with high ceilings. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly fixing things or putting different parts together for clients. The lighting isn't always great, but we have enough lamps at the individual workbenches to see what we are doing. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment of components comes in and we have to find space for everything. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with all sorts of small parts and tools. Most of us wear work boots and old clothes because it’s a hands-on place. Rabale is a busy area for this kind of work, and there are many shops nearby. We don't have a fancy office area, just a small metal desk in the corner for the computer and the phone. We spend most of the day tinkering with equipment and testing things out. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific project. It’s just us and the machines most of the time. The warehouse stays cool enough in the morning but heats up quite a bit by the afternoon. We usually just have some quick snacks and keep working until the job is done. There’s a lot of heavy stuff to move around, so we use a small hand trolley. It makes things easier on our backs.
