You can find us over at 3A 10 in Tolaram Nagar, which is part of the Chembur Colony area in Mumbai. It’s a pretty established neighborhood and things have a certain rhythm here that you don't always find in the newer parts of the city. Our branch isn't the biggest, but it serves the people who live in the colony well enough. We start the day early, usually getting in before the sun gets too hot. Chembur has a lot of history and you can feel it in the streets around Tolaram Nagar. People come in with their passbooks and their questions, and we do what we can to help them out without making a big fuss about it. The office itself is just a standard setup with the usual bank counters and a few chairs that have seen better days. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it wouldn't really fit the vibe of the place anyway. It gets quite busy on the first of the month when everyone gets their pensions or salaries, and the noise of the colony filters in through the windows. We've got our routine down pretty solid by now. Most of the time, we are just sitting behind the glass, typing away or counting out cash. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the shutters go down in the evening. We don't ask for much from the day, just a smooth run.
