India Today Group

You can find India Today Group at 13 Jai Nilotpal Society on 6th Lane in Pandurang Wadi. This is over in Goregaon East, Mumbai. It’s tucked away in a society, so it’s a bit more relaxed than being right on the main highway. The building is one of those older Mumbai structures with a lot of character. We are on the ground floor, which is lucky because we don’t have to wait for the lift. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many books and records piled up everywhere. In the rainy season, the lane outside gets a bit flooded, but we still make it in. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, though the machine breaks down every other week. Most of the people working here have been with the company for a long time, so we feel like a bit of a family. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes and comfortable shoes because we’re on our feet a lot. The street noise is mostly just kids playing or people walking their dogs. It is a nice spot to work from. We just get on with our tasks, filing reports and checking facts. It’s not a flashy lifestyle, but it’s our daily routine and we’ve grown quite fond of this little corner in Goregaon. Sometimes we go out for a quick walk to get some fresh air between assignments.
