We are set up in Vileparle East, right on Tejpal Scheme Road Number 4. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been at B 25 Isha Kripa for quite some time now. Il Fs Property Management Services Ltd is what we call the business, but mostly people just know us as the guys who look after the local buildings. Mumbai is a crowded place, so managing properties here means dealing with a lot of different people every single day. We handle the basic stuff like collecting rent, checking on leaks, and making sure the common areas are kept up. It’s a lot of walking around and talking to people on the phone. My nephew helps with the accounts because I’m not great with the digital side of things. We aren't a big corporate office with suits and glass walls. It’s just a regular room with some desks and a lot of folders. The rains usually cause us some headaches with the older structures around here, but we manage. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough to know which plumbers actually show up on time. Dealing with property is mostly just solving small problems before they get too big. We stay busy enough without needing to advertise much. People in Vileparle just find us through word of mouth. It's a steady life and we like being part of the local community. There is a small chai stall downstairs where we usually get our afternoon snacks.
