Iit Bombay

We are located at H 12 B 309 within the Iit Powai campus in Mumbai. Being inside the campus is a bit different from the rest of the city. It’s much greener and you occasionally see a leopard or some deer if you’re out late enough. Our office is in one of the older buildings, which has its own charm. The room is 309, so we have to go up a few flights of stairs. It’s a small space where we manage things for Iit Bombay. The humidity in Mumbai is no joke, so the walls sometimes have that damp smell, but we don’t really mind it. We have our computers and our stacks of journals and papers everywhere. It’s a busy environment because people are always coming and going. You can hear the students talking in the corridors and the sound of the canteen nearby. We don't have fancy office furniture, just the standard wooden desks that have been here for years. It’s a very functional place. We focus on our daily tasks and try to stay on top of the schedule. There is a lot of history in these buildings, and you can feel it when you’re working. We’re just a small part of the bigger machine here, doing our bit to keep things moving forward without making a big fuss about it.
