Our office is located in the Pushyadanth cooperative housing society, over at Plot 65/65A in Sector 21. Kharghar is a nice part of Navi Mumbai because it feels a bit more open than the crowded parts of the city. We are in unit C-202. Working out of a housing society means it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate office. We have our desks set up in the different rooms, and there’s always someone making tea in the small kitchen area. We do software work and other tech stuff. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, but we take breaks on the balcony to look at the hills in the distance. We aren't a massive company with thousands of employees. It’s just a handful of us who live nearby and wanted to avoid the long train commute into Mumbai. Sometimes the building elevator is out of service, so we walk up, which keeps us moving. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. The atmosphere is pretty quiet most of the time, except when there’s a festival in the society downstairs. We just do our best to finish our projects on time and help our clients. It’s a simple, local way to run a technology business without all the unnecessary polish of a big firm.
