Idc India Limited is based in the Mhada Colony, just off Mahakali Caves Road in Mumbai. If you know this part of Maharashtra, you know it’s always moving. Our office is right in the heart of a residential area, which makes the morning commute feel a bit more personal. We are surrounded by homes and local shops, so there’s always a sense of life around us. The office itself is pretty functional. We don't have marble floors or expensive art. We have sturdy desks, plenty of shelves for our records, and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. We spend our hours going through data and making sure all the paperwork for the company is in order. It’s not glamorous, but it’s important work and we take it seriously. We aren't interested in sounding like a huge multinational. We are just a group of people who enjoy working in this part of Mumbai. Sometimes the rains make the road outside a bit difficult, but we manage to get things done regardless. We like the fact that we can walk out and get a good vada pav just a few steps away. It keeps us connected to the neighborhood. We don’t have big meetings about vision or strategy; we just talk about what needs to be finished by Friday. It's a straightforward, no-nonsense environment that keeps us busy every single day.
