Our spot in Mumbai is located in Sakinaka, which is a place that never really seems to slow down. We are in the Mohili Society, specifically building B 1. If you are looking for us, we are near Kamleshwar Bhawan on the Pipe Line road. It’s a typical Mumbai neighborhood, very crowded and full of life at every hour. The noise from the street is something we have just learned to live with over time. The office itself is quite modest. We don't have a lot of extra room, so we have to stay organized. Most of us at Icici here have been working in this area for a while, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the Sakinaka traffic, though that’s easier said than done. The building is a bit old-fashioned and doesn't have any of those modern glass walls you see in the newer parts of the city. Inside, it’s just a bunch of desks and chairs where we handle the daily grind. We see a lot of people coming and going because of the society right here. It feels very local, like we are just part of the furniture in this neighborhood. We don't put on any acts; we just get through the paperwork and try to stay cool when the humidity hits. It’s a straightforward place to work, and we just keep things moving along as best as we can every single day.
