Icici Pru

This is a bit different since we don't have a big physical office to show off right now. Most of what I do for Icici Pru happens through the email addresses we use, like the ones at gmail and yahoo under Sandeep's name. It’s a bit informal, I know, but it works for the way things are these days. I spend a lot of time sitting at my computer answering messages and sorting out life insurance queries. People write in when they have a problem or need to update something on their policy. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure all the attachments are there and the details are right. I usually check the gmail one more often, but the yahoo one is there too in case things get slow. It’s just me handling these emails, so if I don’t reply right away, I’m probably just buried under a pile of other requests. I try to be straightforward with everyone. There’s no big corporate team here, just a person behind a screen trying to make sure the paperwork moves along like it should. Sometimes people find it easier to just send a quick message than to travel somewhere. It’s been working out okay so far. I don’t use any fancy auto-reply stuff, so when you get a message, it’s actually me typing it out between my other daily chores and work tasks. It is just a digital way of helping out.
