We are located at Room No 1 in the Mahesh Agrawal Chawl No 1, over in Ganesh Rawal Pada in Dahisar East. It’s a typical Mumbai setup, a bit tight on space but we make it work. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of everything, and there’s always noise and people moving around outside. This is where we handle the Icici Pru Life business for the local area. It’s not a big glass office like you see in South Mumbai; it’s just a room where we get the work done. People from around Dahisar know they can come here when they have a question about their life insurance or need to submit some forms. We deal with a lot of paperwork every day, and it can get a bit overwhelming when the weather is hot and the fan is just pushing air around. But we like being close to the people we help. You don’t need an appointment or anything, you just walk in. We might be busy with someone else, but we’ll get to you eventually. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the struggles of living and working in Mumbai, so we try to be as practical as possible with the insurance stuff. No big words or confusing talk, just plain Hindi or English to explain what needs to be done. The 400068 area is our home and our workplace.
