Icici Lombard

We are over at Icici Lombard, located in the Surya Darshan Co-operative Housing Society. The exact unit is 6 423. It’s right near the Tata Power House in Borivali East. If you are in Mumbai 400066, you probably know how busy this area gets with all the power house traffic. Our office is part of the housing complex, so it feels very integrated into the neighborhood. We share the space with the sounds of kids playing and people going about their grocery shopping. It’s a ground floor or first floor type of vibe, easy to walk into. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of folders. We have a few computers that have been around for a while. The walls are a plain off-white, and we have some old calendars hanging up. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decor. We just need a place to sit and handle the insurance paperwork. Most of the people working here live nearby in Borivali or nearby suburbs. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. It’s a very real, everyday sort of office. We don’t use big words or fancy titles. We are just the people you talk to about your policy when you’re in the neighborhood. It is a bit cramped, but we make it work somehow.
