Our office is tucked away in Parimal Park, specifically in unit B 704. It’s in Mulund East, right in Hariom Nagar. Mumbai is always moving fast, and this area is no different. We spend our hours dealing with various insurance matters for Icici Lombard Gic Ltdmumbai. It’s a lot of data entry and talking to customers who need help with their paperwork. The view from the seventh floor is alright, mostly just other buildings and the street below. We have a small staff here. Everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we have to wait a bit or take the stairs if we are in a hurry. We don't really have a lobby, just the office space where we work. People drop by to hand over documents or ask about their policy status. It’s practical work. We use a lot of pens and staplers every day. It’s not a corporate showroom; it’s just where the insurance tasks get finished. We try to keep the noise down because it’s a shared building with other people. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and filing things away in the metal cabinets. It’s a consistent routine. We’ve got the local tea guy who comes by in the afternoon with his kettle. That’s usually the highlight of the workday for most of us here.
