We are based in Mumbai, specifically in the 400 089 area. This part of Maharashtra is always moving fast. Our branch is right in the thick of it. Every day we see a huge variety of people coming in from the busy streets. Some are in a hurry to get back to work, while others have more time to talk. We spend our day managing accounts, processing forms, and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the shift. Mumbai weather is usually humid, so we are glad to be working indoors with the fans going. The office is a busy place with the sound of phones and printers going all the time. It is not a very quiet life, but it is interesting. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite being a big bank, our local team is just a group of regular folks. We take our breaks, complain about the local traffic, and help the customers as best as we can. There is no corporate polish here, just honest work. We have all kinds of people walking in from different backgrounds. It’s a lot of manual entry and talking, but we get it done. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
