People know us here in Wagh Chawl on Mithbandar Road. It’s a busy part of Thane East, especially near Chendni Koliwada where the fishing community stays. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic and people rushing to catch their trains. Our office isn't fancy, just a practical place where we handle money stuff every day. Some folks come in just to ask about their passbooks or why a payment didn't go through. It gets crowded around lunch, and the air is usually a bit salty because we aren't that far from the water. We handle a lot of small transactions here. The desk chairs are a bit old and sometimes the printer acts up when it’s too humid outside. We just get on with things. It’s mostly regular faces we see every week. You might find a few ledgers stacked up in the corner if you look closely. We try to keep the queue moving, but sometimes the internet is slow and everyone has to wait a bit. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have those big glass walls like the offices in the city center. It’s just us, a few computers, and a lot of paperwork. We’ve grown used to the noise from the street outside. It is a real place with real problems and we just do our jobs every single day.
