We are tucked away in Radha Krishna Nagar, up on Malpa Hill Number 3 in the Andheri East area. It is a bit of a climb to get up this way, but the neighborhood has its own specific rhythm that we have grown to like. This ICICI Bank office handles the banking needs for the people living and working around the hill. It is not one of those massive corporate headquarters you see in the shiny parts of Mumbai. Instead, it is a more grounded place where we know the local surroundings and the people quite well. The streets around here can be narrow and sometimes a bit chaotic with traffic, but that is just how things are in this part of the city. We spend our days processing transactions and checking documents for whoever drops by. It is honest work and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is. Sometimes the heavy rain makes it a bit messy getting to the office, but we are always here at our desks. The space inside is purely functional and does what it needs to handle the daily load. Most of us have lived in Mumbai long enough to appreciate a place that just gets the job done without any unnecessary fuss. We do not have any fancy slogans on the walls. We just sit here and help people with their banking. It is a steady routine.
