Our place is in V 1 Dalal Estates, right near Mumbai Central. This area is always buzzing, as you can imagine. We are just a local branch office where we spend our days dealing with the usual banking stuff. It's a pretty old building, Dalal Estates, but it serves its purpose for us and the people who live around here. We don't really do anything fancy. There are some desks, a few computers, and a lot of papers that need filing. The commute for most of us involves the local trains, so we are used to the rush. Sometimes the monsoon makes it a bit messy around the entrance, but we just keep the floor mopped and carry on. People come in to deposit money or ask questions about their passbooks. It’s just the daily routine. We know many of the shopkeepers from the nearby streets because they come in often. It feels like a small community even though Mumbai is so huge. We are tucked away in the 400008 area. It’s not a big corporate headquarters, just a working branch for the locals. We open up in the morning, do the work, and close up when the day is done. It is straightforward and honest work. There isn’t much more to say about it, really. Just a bank office in a busy part of the city. We try to keep it organized and get through the pile of work on our desks.
