We are based in the Pawapuri Apartments, specifically in unit A 302 on Lovelane in Byculla. It’s a residential building, so the vibe is a bit more relaxed than a high-street branch. Being on the third floor means you have to use the elevator, which is usually working fine but can be a bit small. The office itself used to be a regular flat, so it has a kitchen area we use for our lunch breaks and a bathroom that’s just for the staff and visitors. We’ve turned the main rooms into our working areas with desks and cabinets for all the files. It feels a bit like a home office, actually. Lovelane is an interesting spot with a lot of history, and we see all sorts of people coming through. It’s not a huge place, so if more than three people are waiting, it starts to feel full. We keep the windows open when the weather allows to get a breeze. There’s no big corporate sign outside, just the name on the directory. We spend our days typing away and talking to people about their accounts. It’s a simple setup and we don’t try to make it more than it is. We just focus on getting the numbers right and helping out whoever walks through the door. It’s a quiet corner of Byculla for us to do our work.
