We are over in Parel, at the Mistry Building, specifically A 3. Mumbai 400012 is a central spot, so it’s easy to get to by train, but it also means it’s incredibly crowded all the time. The building is one of those older Mumbai structures that has a lot of history and character to it. Our office inside is a bit tight, but we’ve organized it as best as we can to fit everyone in. We do a lot of back-office work here, so there is always the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking on the phone. It’s a lively atmosphere, though it can get a bit loud during the peak hours of the day when things are moving fast. We’ve been here for a long stretch and the walls have seen a lot of people come and go. There’s a small balcony where some of us go to catch a breath of air, though even there you can hear the trains and the cars from the main road. We don't have any polished marble floors or fancy elevators. The stairs are narrow and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners, but it feels like home to us. It’s just an honest place where we put in our hours every day. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders, we just focus on getting the work done right.
