You can find us at Gayatri Jayraj Nagar in Borivli West. Being in a suburb of Mumbai means we are always surrounded by the hum of the city. Our office is in building 301, and it’s a fairly standard setup for a small corporation. We don’t have those open-plan offices you see in movies. It’s more about desks tucked into corners and stacks of documents that need to be filed. The elevators are sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs and chatting with people from other offices in the building. Borivli is a busy area, and the walk from the station can be a bit of a workout, especially during the monsoon. We usually start our day by clearing out the emails and figuring out the schedule for the week. There is a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s where most of the office gossip happens. We don't put on any airs here. We just come in, do our tasks, and head home to our families. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the street below where people are always rushing somewhere. It’s a very regular place to work. We deal with whatever business comes our way without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we know the local shops and where to get the best snacks for the afternoon break. It’s just a normal office in a busy part of Mumbai.
